Travel Agents of Change Exhibition Opening

Water of Leith Visitors Centre will see the opening of a new exhibition featuring the stories of local people who have bucked the holiday trend and opted not to take a cheap flight to their vacations from Edinburgh, choosing to travel more slowly instead. The outdoor exhibition began in Portobello but is now touring the city and will spend two weeks outside the visitors centre in the middle of February.

At the launch event, we'll hear from Anna Hughes, Director of flight free UK as well as the story of the project from the coordinators of Porty Community Energy. Join us for tea and cakes, grab your Zine of flight free stories, look round the exhibition and talk to some of the contributors to get their top recommendations for holidays in the UK and Europe by bus, train, bike and ferry.
