Did you love The Wizard of Oz? Have you seen The Play That Goes Wrong? Imagine a combination of the two and you have, “When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors!” the latest production by the Adult Actors Group from Centrestage.
An entertaining, funny and uplifting play, portraying the events that happen to an Amateur Dramatics Company putting on, their version, of The Wizard of Oz.
What happens when the Director misses the Opening Night to go on a date? How do you cope with a Stage Manager that doesn’t have a script to prompt the cast? What do you do when your relatives interrupt the show? These, and many other situations, are presented to the cast of this, doomed, show. How do they cope? Who succeeds over adversity? Will the audience want their money back? Do they succeed in navigating the many bumps in the Yellow Brick road? The only way to find out is to come and see for yourselves!
