World premiere of Colin Riley's'It Speaks without Answer'

We are delighted to be working once again with Colin Riley, and to be giving the world premiere of his new work for choir and harp, It Speaks without Answer.

The six songs of ‘It Speaks Without Answer’ chart the course of the river from source to estuary exploring moods and emotional connections. Each song makes reference to small noticings along the way. The text is by the composer.

The piece is the second one specially-written for Pegasus. Colin previously composed ‘Roads Shining Like River Up Hill After Rain’ in 2016 celebrating the centenary of Edward Thomas.

We will also be performing the stunning Mass for Double Choir by Frank Martin.
