Visit the studio of artist David Greenall to learn about his work and see new paintings in progress. You will also have the opportunity to experiment with mixing pigments and making a small painting.
Born on Merseyside in 1947, David Greenall left school at the age of fifteen and worked in the fishing and building industries before taking up painting in his late twenties, attending Norwich School of Art in 1992 as a mature student, followed by fine art printmaking at Winchester, for his BA Honours Degree.
His paintings of light and landscape – composed of raw pigments, blended with wax, resin, oil or egg tempera – are luminous, subtle, and nuanced yet rendered with power, vigour, and unerring draughtsmanship.
There are limited parking spaces close to the studio. Follow the link to find David Greenall’s studio on Google maps. Link
