A Day Working With Willow With Trevor Leat

In this one day workshop you will learn the techniques and weaves to build a sweet pea/bean obelisk or other plant support of your design and which you can take home.

There is also an option to weave a simple frame trug basket for use in the garden. All materials supplied. If you have secateurs, please bring them.

We will have time throughout the day to talk about willow, its many uses and the best varieties to grow in galloway.

The workshop runs from 10 am to 4.30 pm and we will be working outside, weather permitting.

Tea, coffees etc and lunch are available to buy at the hub cafe or just bring your own.
