A Medieval Christmas by Candlelight

Join vOx for a candlelit concert of the music that would have been sung in colleges across Oxford in the Medieval and Renaissance period. Sublime, ethereal and contemplative, this music offers an hour of balm from the madness of pre-Christmas rush. Composers include Perotin, Palestrina, Byrd, Gabrielli and the 'Noe, noe' by Antoine Brumel, whose Earthquake Mass vOx has just performed to great acclaim.
