Accidental Death of an Anarchist by Dario Fo and Franco Rame, adapted by Tom Basden

Details

Directed by Chris Parnell This hilarious and bitingly satirical farce, written in response to the tragic death of an individual in Italian police custody, premiered in 1970. Since then it has been performed all over the world, to universal acclaim. Tom Basden has adapted and rewritten the play to make it supremely relevant to twenty-first century British audiences. The 2022 performances of his adaptation in London and Sheffield were a sell-out. The play contains strong language and is not suitable for under 16s This amateur production is performed by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
