Acoustic Night with Phil Cooper

Come and join us for a great night of music. The Arts Cafe will be open! Phil Cooper is a contemporary folk-pop troubadour based in Bristol. He is best known as one third of folk / americana trio The Lost Trades, but has also been performing solo for the best part of two decades, sharing the stage with the likes of Badly Drawn Boy, The Bluetones, Mark Chadwick and many more. His vocals and varied songwriting have been compared to the likes of Neil Finn (Crowded House), Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze), Stephen Stills and Glen Hansard. A live performance with Phil is friendly and engaging and you'll be sure to laugh and cry, all whilst tapping your feet, and humming along to the instantly catchy melodies he weaves.
