After making your own way to Anne Listers former home of Shibden Hall, you will have private entry into the Hall with exclusive, rare access to go up to the Library Tower that Anne Lister had designed before she went on her ill-fated trip to Russia.
A visit to the gardeners tunnel outside in the Halls grounds will be included exclusively in the 2025 tour! This area is not normally accessible to the general public.
Please note that ascending the Library Tower involves having to climb several flights of spiral stairs. The gardeners tunnel is outside: the ground is uneven and may be slippery, please take care. This tour may therefore be unsuitable for anybody with mobility issues.
Any children under 18 booked on the event must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket for the event and will remain the responsibility of that parent or guardian at all times.
