Menagerie is a storytelling/comedy show about the collectibles in our life. Like Noah's Ark taking the best pair of every species, this show unpicks the best of each season of life, of work, of marriage, of having kids and then pulling ones own teeth out over frozen shoulders, diminishing bank accounts and sanity. As a south-indian married to a north-indian, who is her diametric opposite, in waistline, temper and sageliness, Anu Vaidyanathan tries to unlearn the lessons all bad romantic Hollywood movies have infested her brain with, and see life for what it is - a giant, unavoidable wedgie when one is on stage about to accept a lifetime achievement award.
