Archduke - Armistice Day Release Party At The Blue Moon - Plus Supports

This gig, I'll be playing with a wonderful band (Jess on bass and BV's, Ryan on Electric guitar). I'll also be releasing a brand new single into the world, Armistice Day!

Armistice Day was recorded at The Clock House in late 2023.

It marks a slight departure from Archduke's classic 90's rock and indie vibe, to a more modernist Pop sound.

This track features a synthetic bell hook - conjuring images, as the track's title suggests, of bells ringing after the end of war. It then breaks down in the verses with a breathy and cool vocal, rising in the chorus and, after a soul-lifting guitar solo, building to a crescendo with violins in the final chorus.
