Art and Empowerment

This session explores art and mindfulness through the themes in our current exhibition, ‘I see His Blood Upon a Rose’. During this workshop we will tour the exhibition discover how the artists depict shared empowerment through activism for equal rights, peace and the environment. We will take use this to inspire how to express feelings through the body, art and meditation to create a collaborative art piece. The session will be jointly led by our children’s artist in-residence, Rachel Fitzpatrick, and art physiotherapist Hayley Derbyshire.
