Art Exhibition: 'Feathered Souls' by Fiona Mackenzie

Alchemist Gallery, Dingwall is delighted to be hosting an exhibition of drawings, prints and paintings by Gairloch based artist Fiona Mackenzie this Winter.

The exhibition explores the delicate and vital life of birds in Scotland.

Artist Statement:

'l hope to show the vital life within these small, feathered souls. I study them most days and keep sketchbooks and drawings to work from. This poem by Emily Dickinson helped with the sense of the metaphysical within the birds, how I ‘see’ them.'
