KMA Gallery is celebrating a new year with an array of inviting works specially selected by Kellie Miller for your home, including paintings by Kate Richardson, David Hayward and Ashley Hanson, ceramics by Phil Jolley, the late Adela Powell and Stephen Murfitt, as well as a new sculpture by Jon Barrett-Danes.
Painter Kate Richardson, inspired by the wild coastlines of the West Country, creates dreamlike and mystical paintings that transport you to their fantastical locations. Featuring flecks of gold and opaque washes of colour, her paintings offer an antidote to dreary winter weather.
The late ceramicist Adela Powell explored her passion for science and modern art through her organic works. The versatility of clay was often a source of inspiration and her exploration of the medium produced unexpected and exciting results. Her works feel as though they have evolved from the earth, and are highly treasured by collectors far and wide.
Also on show are paintings by Dawn Stacey, prints and an original painting by Kellie Miller, sculptures by Davide Galbiati and Jessie Mooy, and ceramics by Paul Wearing.
These artworks are on view curated across two floors at Kellie Miller Arts, 20 Market Street, Brighton.
