Exploding Stars - Supernovae, neutron stars and black holes.

In this talk we will consider the life cycles of stars more massive than the Sun.

These explode at the end of their lives as spectacular supernovae - so bright that they can be seen across the universe.

Their endpoints are either dense exotic objects known as neutron stars or, for the most massive stars, the enigmatic black hole.
