Life in the Universe - What are the possibilities of life 'out there'?

The James Webb space telescope has allowed great advances in the understanding of exoplanets - planets orbiting other stars - and it may soon be possible to analyse exoplanet atmospheres in enough detail to show that they may be life bearing.

We will discuss how exoplanets are discovered and use the famous 'Drake Equation' to give an estimate for the number of life bearing worlds in the galaxy.
