Autumn24: Versa Winds

Join the vibrant Versa Winds, saxophone and multi-instrumental quartet, for an evening of captivating melodies and toe-tapping rhythms. They will take you on a musical journey across the New World, with a brief detour into the Celtic Lands, to bring you classics from the likes of Bernstein and Gershwin, and to discover original works for saxophone quartet. Featuring arrangements to include clarinets and flutes, it promises to deliver a varied tapestry of sound that resonates with audiences of all tastes.

Please note, this concert takes place at St.Andrew’s, Ampthill. After the concert (approx. 1 hour) join the quartet for a glass of wine in the Chapterhouse. To make the evening extra special, there are a limited number of tickets available for a pre-concert Wine & Dine event. Enjoy foods with a nod to the Americas and delicious wines curated by Tracey Hollywell and Ampthill’s Cambridge Wine.
