Black Riders Session Players

Black Riders Session Players play original songs and are inspired by the studios and great session crews that played on recordings of songs by Brian Wilson, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Joni Mitchell, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, Paul Simon and many others. Black Riders Session Players aspire to adhere to the ethos of the great 60s and 70s session crews and serve the songs. The vision of Black Riders Session Players is to play live, elevate local songwriters work to a higher level and engage with a wider audience. Session players from the local jam scene form a full backing band and they play versions based on the original demos.
