Blues In the Bar featuring Deep Six Blues

Deep Six Blues was the brainchild of songwriters and long-time players: guitarist Lee Gabel, singer and harmonica player Si Vickers and Fender Rhodes player Lucy Marshall during the lockdowns.

Taking inspiration from heroes including Son House, BB King and Peter Green and from their home on the ‘Humber Delta’ a unique alt-bluesy sound was born.

Joined soon after by bassist Hebe Gabel and drummer Paul Hewitt they began recording at Fairview Studios in Willerby, East Yorkshire and self-released their Big River EP in April 2023.

They are currently playing shows and festivals all over the UK and have also been supporting the likes of Alabama 3 and Big Wolf Band.
