Bo'ness walking tour and behind the scenes Hippodrome tour

If you're planning a trip to Edinburgh for the festival, be sure to join us in nearby Bo'ness for a walking tour of the tiny town with a lot of deco! Bo'ness (besides being the only town in the UK with an apostrophe - apparently!) has a remarkably well preserved collection of Deco buildings. Join local historian and archaeologist Geoff Bailey on a guided tour of Bo'ness, followed by a behind the scenes tour of the Hippodrome, Scotland's oldest Cinema dating from 1912 and showing early Deco influences.

The walk will be approximately 4.8km (3 miles) and will include walking up a hill. Please wear footwear suitable for city walking and be prepared for all weather eventualities. The event will last approximately 3.5 hours, including a refreshment stop.
