Experience a great day out at one of Scotland’s premier Highland Games, Set against the stunning backdrop of the National Wallace Monument, and Stirling Castle.
For almost 170 years, Bridge of Allan has been one of the premier Highland Games in the country showcasing Scotland’s strong cultural and sporting heritage set against the stunning backdrop of the National Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and the Ochil Hills.
Each year we offer an impressive and varied full day programme of traditional Highland Games competitions covering athletics, wrestling, grass cycling, heavyweights, tossing the caber, highland dancing, and pipe bands. Competitors taking part in events number approximately over 200 dancers, 100 athletes, 30 wrestlers, 10 grass cyclists, 12 heavyweights and up to 80 pipe bands.
The arena events programme is augmented by a large and varied mix of trade stands, traditional craft stalls and catering areas which provide a showcase for artisans to promote their products and adds to the overall appeal of the event as a great day out.
