Burns night at Craigston Castle

Celebrating the great Scottish poet and lyricist, Robert Burns, we’ll walk you through the history of Craigston castle, enjoying a drink in the Drawing room and dinner in the Old Kitchen.

Thanks to Simon White, star guide you’ll also discover the dark sky of Aberdeenshire and more.

Program:

• 06:30pm arrival at Craigston, private family home of the Urquhart since 1607. Welcome drink in the Drawing room, with the opportunity to immerse yourself in history guided by your host through the main reception rooms of the castle.

• 07:00-07:30pm a talk with Simon in the Safari room exploring Aberdeenshire sky and more

• 07:45-08:30pm dinner in the Old Kitchen with local chef Fiona Trippet (2 courses menu)

• 08:30-09:30pm a walk outside for stargazing

• 09:30pm-10:00pm back in the Safari room, for a last talk and a warm drink
