Calendar Girls

The Barony Players’ next production is “Calendar Girls The Play” by Tim Firth. It will be performed at The Barony Theatre on 4th to 9th November. When Annie’s husband dies of leukaemia, she and her best friend Chris resolve to wring some good from their sadness. They convince four fellow WI members to pose nude for an alternative calendar, they plan to buy a new settee but become a media sensation. The success puts pressure on Annie and Chris’s friendship but they discover just how far a great idea can take you.“Calendar Girls” tells the true story of the ladies of Knapeley WI and the calendar they created.
