Camden Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert

Join us as our Spring Concert gets off to a jubilant start with Mexican composer Arturo Márquez’s sensual Danzón No. 2 which fuses Latin American folk with classical traditions. The fusion of Latin American and classical is also found throughout Bernstein’s thrilling Symphonic Dances from West Side Story . The musical is, of course, based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet , and in the second half of the concert we present a selection of the sensational music from Sergei Prokofiev’s ballet version of the story. A concert not to be missed!
