Viva Voce Singers will be performing their annual Candlelit Christmas Carols at 6.00pm on Saturday 21st December at St Peter Mancroft Church, Norwich. The Viva Voce Charity Christmas concert has now become an established event enjoyed by many. Once again the Viva Voce Singers have decided to donate the money raised from this concert to MAP (Mancroft Advice Project).
MAP helps young people (11-25) have better lives; to grow up to be confident, contributing adults and to make positive choices about their future. We help with issues relating to employment, education/training, money, housing, welfare rights, health, sexuality, gender, relationships and parenting. From our drop-in centres in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn, and through outreach work, we deliver free, independent advice, guidance and advocacy; counselling; youth work activities; and informal education to over 4,000 young people each year.
Viva Voce Singers is a Norwich-based chamber choir which was formed at the beginning of 1991. The choir’s repertoire is wide-ranging but concentrates on renaissance, baroque and contemporary works. With around 25 singers, the choir has a reputation for giving high-quality performances in venues across Norfolk and enjoys being able to support local charities.
