Canterbury Tales

Details

This version of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales has been re-written in modern English but retains some of Chaucer’s style of speech, be it rude or pious. It will be done in traditional costume. There are many scenes, including the most famous Miller’s tale, all of which vary in length and style of delivery. Some of them are spoken, like radio plays as it would be improper to act them out (they are too rude). Others are played to the audience but with lots of narration as we are hoping this production will appeal to the blind or sight impaired. Come and see this hilarious version of some very old tales.
