One of the most successful UK Soul bands of the 1980s, Loose Ends first hits the charts in 1985 with Hanging on a String, which went to number one in the USA and hit the national top 10 in the UK. More hits followed on both sides of the Atlantic with Magic Touch, Slow Down and Watching you (Watching me).

In 1990 two of the original members, Jane Eugene and Steve Nichol left the band and were replaced with Linda Carriere andSunay Suleyman who joined founding member Carl McIntosh. The band's final hit was Don't be a fool in the same year.

Carl McIntosh went on to be an in-demand produer for Caron Wheeler and Ruth Joy. Carl has now brought back Loose Ends to overwhelming demand.
