Carter Sampson

Oklahoma is a hotbed of good music and no-one knows that better than the self-crowned Queen of Oklahoma Carter Sampson, who will be touring the UK with her full band from 28 Feb to 16 March 2025.

Born and raised in the central state, Sampson writes relatable and honest songs about family, love, life and historical characters. She's released six albums with her two latest records being released on the influential Horton record label. Her last album, Gold, spent many months on the Americana Music Charts.

She tours internationally, and has had much success playing regularly in Europe and the UK: "I really love playing in the UK. I joke about it a lot but American audiences are generally loud and dont listen very well English audiences are so quiet and kind."

Carter is recording her first solo live album at The Blue Door listening room in Oklahoma City this November the album will be her seventh, and will be released in January 2025, two months before her UK tour starts.
