We are delighted to invite you to join us to celebrate the achievements of Assemble, our national project tackling social isolation amongst young disabled people.

We've witnessed singers, dancers, poets, and comedians emerging from behind shrouds of shyness and self-doubt: it's a joy and an inspiration.

We have delivered Assemble over the past 2 years with young people from nonmainstream schools in London, Greater Manchester and South Wales, in partnership with National Youth Arts Wales, and working closely with disability advocates, Gig Buddies, and London Metropolitan University.

At the event, you will have the opportunity to watch short pieces created by young people to share with students and teachers from the other nonmainstream schools in their area.

We want to thank the students and schools who have embraced the opportunity to work collaboratively with us: Piper Hill, Wythenshawe; New Bridge, Oldham; Samuel Laycock, Ashton-Under-Lyne

We are proud to acknowledge the support of the National Lottery Community Fund, our lead funder for Assemble under their Bringing People Together programme. We also want to thank the Esme Fairbairn Foundation and The Baily Thomas Charitable Fund. We are very pleased to acknowledge the support our principal organisational funder Arts Council England.
