CEOL is a young band from all over Ireland with a passion for folk music. Discovered by Nathan Carter and Liam McKenna. Cathal (24, Dublin), Matthew (27, Donegal), James (25, Wexford), Daryl (29, Kildare). Taking inspiration from The Dubliners, The Chieftans, Mumford and Sons, and many other great Irish and international artists before them, CEOL are bringing folk music to a new generation. CEOL were formed after a nationwide search of more than 1,000 people. Launched in 2022, the band released their self titled debut album which hit 3,000,000 streams on Spotify within the first month of release. Hits include, Beeswing, Heave Away (feat Nathan Carter), The Ferryman, Big Strong Man, Some Say The Devil Is Dead, Travellin Soldier and many more. Within 6 months of joining TikTok they amassed over 5 million views, making them Irelands fastest growing debut music artist on the platform at the time.
