Chants of Nature

Join us for an enchanting evening with the Cambridge University Chinese Orchestra (CUCOS), the largest student-led Chinese orchestra in Europe, as we present Chants of Nature. Founded in 2007, CUCOS unites the soulful sounds of traditional Chinese instruments with the richness of Western orchestration.

This year’s concert explores the breathtaking harmony between nature and music, drawing inspiration from the ancient Chinese concept of "万壑有声" – where valleys echo with the profound resonance of the natural world. The program will feature both classical Chinese compositions and innovative pieces, performed by our talented musicians from the Chinese Instrument Division and Western Instrument Division.
