We’ll be exploring the science, technology, mathematics, and engineering that makes Christmas the most wonderful time of year—delving into the science of extreme cold environments, revealing the chemistry of festive food and questioning the physics of exactly how Santa manages to visit so many homes all in one night. You’ll have a chance to get hands-on and use mathematics to create stunning decorations, enjoy a mulled wine and a mince pie or two while joining in an epic carol singing session, and if you’re stuck for Christmas gift ideas, you’ll find plenty of inspiration in the museum shop.
