CLYDE DUO The Clyde Duo consists of Irish flautist, Aisling Agnew, and Welsh Harpist, Sharron Griffiths, who met while working together at St Andrews University in 2010. They share a passion for performing music from the vast beautiful harp and flute repertoire, which they will share in Finzean Church on Sunday 13th April 2025 at 2.30pm
Both musicians have a busy professional career, playing regularly with many of our major orchestras. In Finzean, they plan to play a varied program:- Chevalier de Saint-George: Sonata for harp & flute obbligato Lili Boulanger: Nocturne Gioachino Rossini: Andante con Varionizi Nino Rota: Sonata for Flute and Harp Interval Francois Borne / Georges Bizet: Carmen Fantasie John Thomas: Watching the Wheat Eddie McGuire: Three Chinese Dances Greg Caffrey: The Uses of Not Hamilton Harty: In Ireland The audience thought that it was one of our best concerts ever.
