Colchester Arts Society – Aden Hynes Larger than Life – Working as a Commercial Sculptor

The Colchester Arts Society invites you to the Colchester Arts Society Lecture Series at Firstsite. Their next lecture will be led by Aden Hynes.

Aden Hynes, is a commercial artist and sculptor operating his business, Sculpture Studios, for almost 40 years.

The work commissioned at Sculpture Studios is predominantly for the Film, Television, Theme Park, Theatre and Exhibition industries.

Anything from an opera performance, public art, and large scale art installations, to personal art with individuals or artists and garden pieces, the scale varies greatly.

Aden’s forte is large scale polystyrene carving, from which they can create production moulds and runs in glass fibre, each project tailoring to an individual brief, some pieces only required to last a day, others being installed permanently.

While UK based, many of the works created have been installed all over the world.
