Comedy night at The Bertie Arms

Following on from our hugely successful opening night, we return for another night of laughter and another superb lineup. Opening the show is TV regular, Shazia Mirza. Shazia starred recently on celebrity SAS, but has also featured on Top Gear, Celebrity Masterchef and many, many other TV shows. An award winning comedian writer, Shazia is described a brave and fearless comedian, with thoughtful and thought provoking material, rammed with provocation. We are then treated to more comedy from support acts Jim Brown and Gareth Neale, who are both progressing within the local comedy scene. Our headliner is the very talented Sarah Johnson. Chortlisted creator Sarah, is a Hats Funny Comedy favourite and is one of the hottest properties on the Midlands scene right now. The Leicester based comic is a multi award winner and nominee, with material that is terrific and bullet proof, and a personality that will have you instantly embraced within her comedic journey. Our MC for the night is another act who is really making waves on the local scene, Steve Ward. Hats Funny Comedy normally has its founder, Ian Hayes as resident MC for our events, so it takes someone very talented to be entrusted with the responsibility of running our nights. But Steve has really impressed us and we have no doubt that you will love him too. You're in for a real treat, so come and join us!!!
