Contemporary Gilding Workshop with Amelia Bedson

Learn the art of contemporary gilding, how it has changed over time and how you can use it in your own home to give your possessions the Midas touch!

During the workshop you will learn how to gild a picture frame with Dutch Gold leaf and add your own unique flair to an ornament, object or fresh flower. Gilding is a relaxing and creative experience that you can share with others

Your golden picture frame and gilded decoration will make stunning mementoes of the day or beautiful gifts for loved ones.

Amelia has a Master's degree in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage and is a gilt frame, objects and decorative surfaces conservator and restorer. She has worked in the Fine Arts sector for over four years restoring and conserving antiques.
