Searching for Objects: A Guided Walk for Gathering and Foraging

Put on your walking shoes and join us for a guided tour through the cultural and historical parts of Liverpool city centre, led by Andrea Ku, a socially engaged local artist. Andrea’s practice focuses on facilitating sustainable, collective, hands-on activities using natural and found materials to create useful items. Her work is characterised by its low-tech, low-cost approach with a minimal carbon footprint.

During the tour, you’re encouraged to collect various items, both natural and synthetic. These gathered objects will later serve as prompts for artist Miriam Quick’s sonification workshop in the afternoon.
