Live Theatre & Comedy Performances in the Idris Room
11am A Family Event a place to meet other families and enjoy activities together.
12pm The Butterfly & the Snail Bring the kids along to this creative reading of a beautiful children’s story about understanding asexuality from Queertawe participant Dee Vaughn
1pm Youth Takeover. In collaboration with Mess Up the Mess, Good Vibes, People Speak Up, New Heights and Future Blood expect a lively response to the theme of “Belonging” as our brilliant young people take to the floor.
4-5.30pm Speak the Words. Queertawe is packed with poets who love to perform. Expect poems and monologues on grief, joy, and everything in between.
6-7pm From the Queer Heart. Hilarious and heart-wrenching scenes and sketches from our participants.
