A walk around the old county town of Monmouth, taking in the many sights and several lesser-known places of interest. Learn about the history of this pretty little town and finish inside the Monnow Bridge Gatehouse, which is normally closed to visitors. Our start and end point for this walk is The Pantry, a community cafe in Bridges Centre with an excellent choice of drinks, cakes and light snacks - join us from 9:30 for a pre-walk cuppa and a prompt start at 10:00. 1-2 miles (circular) - allow 1.5 hours Difficulty: easy Bring: a camera
