"Daisy Pulls It Off" is a comedic play by Denise Deegan that parodies the classic British schoolgirl novels of the early 20th century. Set in Grangewood School for Girls, the story follows the adventures of Daisy Meredith, the first scholarship student from a poor background to attend the prestigious institution. Daisy faces snobbish prejudice and unkind pranks from some of her more privileged peers, particularly the snobbish Sybil Burlington and her friend Monica Smithers. Despite this, Daisy remains determined to succeed and prove her worth. The plot unfolds with a series of mysteries including a search for hidden treasure and overcoming various schoolgirl obstacles. Join us for a sublime show with lots of giggles watching Daisy deal with the heavenly highs and lamentable lows of her journey.
