Trapped Animal is incredibly proud to announce our new signing, Dear Pariah and the release of her forthcoming EP - ‘The Weeper Takes’. Come and celebrate this beautiful work with us at SPOC in November!

Dear Pariah is the alias for artist Charlie Hinchcliff. Gigging extensively in the UK since 2012, she’s been hailed as “exceptional” by Simon Raymonde (Bella Union), received an Emerging Excellence Award by Help Musicians UK whilst playing shows for promoters such as Parallel Lines, Melting Vinyl and Kilimanjaro to name a few.

In recent years Charlie’s supported artists such as Courtney Marie Andrews, This is the Kit, BC Camplight, Jesca Hoop & Steve Gunn. She’s received a 9/10 review from The Line of Best Fit, been played on BBC 6Music by Lauren Laverne and been featured on BBC’s Ukrainecast covering a Ukrainian Folk song.
