The Derby Monster Mash celebrates the centenary of Dracula’s links with Derby with an evening of monster-themed live trash punk sleaze rock, in true go-go garage style! Bands! Music! Prizes for the best fancy dress! Dracula was first staged in Derby in 1924, so the Derby Monster Mash is a party as part of a larger project celebrating the city’s association with the count!

Featuring real gone wild surf, R&R, instrumental sounds from headliners The Razerbills (Bradford), death trash duo creating rock ‘n’ roll wild raw fury Snakerattlers (York) and and a whole heap o’ terror-ific rockin' sounds from The Sleazoids (Sheffield), with additional guests rising form the grave The Cryptkicker Five!

Special guest DJ Joe Atom (from Derby’s very own The Atoms) will keep all guys, gals and ghouls a-rockin’ throughout the evening!

As if all that weren't enough, the evening will be hosted by the Fabulous AFAB Drag Queen Boo who will be our glorious MC and costume competition compere! Boo is all about living the fantasy, so some come in your peak outfits and join the monster parade where there’ll be fun prizes up for grabs!
