This years theme for HODS is Global Connections.

This walking tour led by Botanist, Gerry Firkins will guide you around the site, exploring how the many plants and animals that make their home in the cemetery may have arrived. From Japanese knotweed to Oriental plane trees, from Chiffchaffs to Redwings – the site is connected to many different parts of the globe through its ecology.

Our café and bookstall will be open at the Samuel Worth Chapel from 10am to 4.00pm – purchases by cash, debit/credit card or phone app (e.g. Google Pay, Apple Pay).

Path Access – The main Cemetery paths are wide and even, however guided tours also take in some narrow, steep paths that are uneven in places. Care is needed and everyone must remain on the paths at all times.
