Dowally + Philippe Boudot

The material is bold, fresh and original but simultaneously from an honest place of folk and roots. Dowally was borne out of two trad musicians meeting at a pub session and realising a shared passion for the tunes and moving with the style into new times.

Their collaboration with much in-demand drummer Philippe Boudot (currently touring with renowned French songwriter Clara Ysé) sees the duo at their most creative whilst staying true to their beginnings.

Dowally's distinctive style of roots music has been described as "Rather splendid" (The Herald Pick of the Week) and "Utterly Enchanting" (Songlines ★★★★).
