Derby Dracula day may have been in May, but we still haven’t seen the last of Bram Stoker’s legendary count… Prepare to meet Dracula again at a spooktacular evening of live music at Dubrek Studios in Derby showcasing six acts featured on the 'Dracula Returns!’ Album; a musical compilation produced for Dracula Returns to Derby, an AHRC-funded research project led by the University of Derby in partnership with Derby Museums, Derby Theatre, Bournemouth University and Sheffield Hallam University. Atomic Tide - Raucous two-piece rock n’ roll band from Derbyshire Jon McKenzie -Independent artist telling his story through indie and alt-pop tunes Johnny & The Raindrops - Inspiring, life-affirming, heart-warming, brain-expanding songs for children and families SICKOFTHERIOT - Alternative punk rockers with catchy songs drenched in grungy nostalgia Slim Jim Blues -Guitar, drums and blues harp combo that give you stripped down reworked dirty blues classics and originals This Vampire Life - Living dead music for the amusement of the undead, fronted by Derby activist and academic, Kevin Bampton This event is part of Dracula Returns to Derby, an AHRC-funded research project led by the University of Derby.
