Drawn Together at the Museum

Our popular festive art event returns this December. Join us between Christmas and Hogmanay for calming sketching around the museum.

Join us in the National Museum of Scotland this festive period and be inspired to sketch some of the fascinating objects on display. Whether it’s an old favourite or something new to you, there will be plenty to catch your eye in our galleries.

Pick up a pencil and paper from our hub in the Grand Gallery before heading off to explore the museum. When you have finished, why not bring your drawing back to be displayed for the day? Or if you prefer to take your artwork home, take a picture and share it with us on social media by using the hashtag: #DrawnTogetherNMS  

This simple activity is open to all ages and artistic abilities. Come along with the whole family or enjoy some mindful time by yourself or with friends.
