Even Here, Even Now Artist Gathering

Our monthly Artist Gatherings are now part of #EvenHereEvenNow, a new, cross-island artist advocacy programme jointly run by An Lanntair, Shetland Arts, Pier Arts Centre and Taigh Chearsabhagh.

Tonight’s event explores the theme of ‘artists advocating for themselves’. Visual artist Elsie Mitchell will share her experiences of working in Berlin, providing a unique perspective on artistic endeavours in a different cultural setting, while producer and events programmer Andrew Eaton-Lewis will share some insights on advocating for yourself as an artist from the Hebrides, delving into topics such as cultural confidence and representation.
