Ev is successful, popular and flying high; it’s his 40th birthday and he’s celebrating with a party for all eternity. But Death turns up - without an invitation - telling him his time is up. Desperately he embarks on a frantic search to recruit a friend – anyone – to speak in his defence. But Death is close behind.

Carol Ann Duffy's adaptation is racy, uber modern and high octane. It contains spicy language and there are references to party drugs.
