Fair Fashion Festival To Celebrate Second Hand September

Following on from the success of Fair Fashion Collective’s inaugural Fair Fashion Festival in March, they are back with a month-long event marking sustainable fashion and textiles, Glasgow-style to celebrate Second Hand September.

Taking part are the businesses that formed the Collective – Apparel Xchange, BAM, Bawn, Merry-Go-Round, Rags to Riches, Seamster Vintage and Second Cashmere and this time they’ve teamed up with Ailsa Lyall, one of the finalists in the Great British Sewing Bee and a host of other local sustainable businesses – Elphane Antiques, Emma Wylie, Kicks Refurb’d LAW Design Studio, Nephtali Couture, 1 of 100 Ltd, Repair Café Glasgow, Smith and Gibb, The Swap Club Glasgow, Trakke Bags, Two Hoots Vintage, VEVAR and more!

Over 20 events are set to take place in the above businesses across the month, including various sales of pre-loved, vintage and antique items, repair cafes, invisible mending and darning workshops, pop ups, swap shops, and open evenings. Many events are free and require booking.
