Following fantastic responses from audiences to the staged reading of Revolution In A Catsuit at Drayton Arms Theatre in 2023, Pulp House is returning with a staged reading of FAT★★★★4JUSTICE - the second of Somi De Souza’s Freedom Trilogy plays this October.

The play follows Ray Hardy - once a detective, now a frazzled father with a vindictive ex-wife snatching away time with his kids. Ray's had enough. He refuses to keep his head down anymore working round the clock as a lowly security guard at a swanky Manhattan skyscraper. On New Year's Eve, as the ball drops on Times Square, Ray plans to tell the world - from the very building he's paid to protect - that he refuses to lose his kids! ... till he runs into career-obsessed Rani and her colleague Jack, working late because of their tyrannical boss. Ray winds up taking them hostage. The night and day worlds of blue collar and white collar clash and collide in heated and hilarious ways. Ray, Rani and Jack finally connect and light up with a true understanding of themselves and each other. But their ties are quickly cut resulting in a fallout that palpably shocks.

FAT★★★★4JUSTICE shows how facts taken out of context goad us into false assumptions. Only by coming together does the truth become apparent - precisely why those in power are invested in keeping us divided and depleted.
